Eliott Gaspar is the data controller for personal data collected through Imposter Party.

What we collect and why

• Account details (email, login) — to create your account and keep your purchases. Basis: contract.
• Game data (nickname, answers, votes, chat, custom questions) — to run games. Basis: contract.
• Technical data (IP address, device and usage info) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing bugs. Basis: legitimate interests.
• Support messages — to help you. Basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the game.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, payments, tax and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside your country, using safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Game rooms and chat are temporary. Account and purchase data is kept while your account exists, then deleted or anonymised unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We reply within one month.

Security

We use encryption, access controls and other reasonable measures to protect your data.

Cookies and storage

We only use essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your seat in a game and save your settings. We don't use advertising cookies.
